What are the age/eligibility requirements of Child Dependants in the Military?
Vail Resorts does not define this. We are relying on military definitions and eligibility as defined by the Australian military, who individually defines dependant children as:
- Australian Defence Force (ADF): dependant children of the ADF member who are under 21 years. The military member’s spouse's or partner's children are also included in this definition as are older children who have been qualified by the ADF as dependant due to a disability
- Children who are 18+ will still be required to purchase an adult dependant pass. Child pricing is available for Military Epic Pass – Veteran for Child dependants under the age of 18.
I am a qualifying Military Dependant. What if the service member doesn’t buy a Military Epic Pass? Will I still be able to?
Yes, we want to honor all families who have members who are serving or who have served. With proper dependant verification, you and your family can still purchase the appropriate Military Epic Pass (for United States Uniformed Forces and service members of Australia or Canada and their dependents).
Are any other country’s military organizations eligible?
Members of the United States Uniformed Forces, the Canadian Armed Forces, and the Australian Defence Force are currently eligible for the Epic Military Pass.
